Hey all,
We've got a couple of different fundraisers coming up - raffles, games, contests etc. All are for the purpose of having fun, giving away some prizes and most importantly, raising money for some great causes like Buskaid, Unicef, NF Inc, and several other charities.
Do you have some Gillian "stuff" you've been thinking of getting rid of? Duplicate copies of magazines, posters, play programs? Some pictures that you bought at an auction but really don't need? What about all the XF stuff you've accumulated over the years?
You know, all that stuff you've got in a box in your closet, or under your bed. The things you were sure you needed desparately at the time but now, you're not so sure.
Well, how about donating them for a good cause??
We already have a substantial number of prizes lined up for future raffles, even possibly for auction. Some are signed by Gillian, some are not.
But we'd love to have more - actually, we NEED to have more!
So here's the plan...
If you have something you'd like to donate, please email gagcomm@hotmail.com with a description of the item, how you got it, if you bought at auction, what the value in $$ would be.
You don't have to actually send your items to me now if you don't want to. If you prefer, you can hold onto your things until we're actually going to use them as a prize or auction item. I'd like to just have an inventory of things that are available to us.
The next event coming up will be the Wedding Shower and there will be lots of chances to win something. So give something now and then maybe you'll win something you didn't have - something to add back to your collection of Gillian things!
According to Gillian's recent message, there won't be a GA.ws auction next year so this is a great way for fans to share their memorabilia and raise some funds for a good cause.
So let me know - whatcha got????

Please feel free to post this request anywhere on GA or XF boards but please, point them back to this thread instead of just reposting the request.

It's funny, I was looking through my closet and Rubbermaid bins today, at all my XF stuff. Dang, from my old job, I'd even printed out stacks of emails, interviews, accounts of sightings and Autumn's movie reviews!  . That's because at the time I didn't have a computer at home.

I don't think anything of my duplicates are worth it really. Got a few vids and stuff. I bought two sets of all the vids so that if one set ran out, I had the others! LOL!

Hey,
I've got an idea! Why don't we all donate some of our old Gillian clippings from magazines and newspapers?
I think a big package of those would make a great auction item. I mean, there are so many different articles that came out all over the world. Even if they are in a language the winner couldn't read, the pictures are always worth having. I know I would love that as a prize.
Come one people, how about it? Even if you don't want to part with your clippings (as I have a few I'm way too attached to  ) maybe you have some doubles you'd willing to spare... 
What do you say?

If I can find someplace or someone that can make copies of two of my tapes I've got a set of pretty good bloopers and the dailies from some of the later episodes along with the Extremis video, Gillian's A&E bio and the Bree Sharp video that I'll get some copies made of if anyone thinks they would bring in money

@ Nicole: I have a Playing by Heart tape BUT it's in German. So if you think that someone might be interested in it, I'd love to give it to you. The tape is (almost) brand new. I've only watched it twice

No. I've tried to find HOM in German - but there is no such thing -
I bought PBH because I lost my first tape, but then I found it again and now I have 2 tapes and a dvd

I just acquired a couple more prizes which haven't been added to the list yet...
Includes:
1 Extremis CD, 1 "Jouney through the electic underground" CD (I don't have the case here beside me and can't remember the proper name of the damn thing but you know what I mean!), at least one rare GA mag (I won't tell you what yet but I've never seen it anywhere before), some XF FTF postcards, a new gorgeous Scully pic (8X10) that I've never seen before... and a few other things that I'll list later....
