A couple of days ago I had a dream about being chased by a pair of legs. Just legs. It was like something out of a Dali painting! _________________

I am not sure that this counts as a weird dream or a daydream.
I either bump into Gillian or see her and run upto her.
I then ask her a question. She's a bit reticent at first thinking it's going to be about career or family but then thinks about it properly.
The question is this. 'Even if you disregard the presence of humans and the litter they throw away, why is the countryside so untidy ?'
She eventually says she does not know.
The answer is 'Because Nature abhors a vacuum'
This makes her groan but that was the idea to begin with. _________________ Beware the Tribble my dear when the moon is fat. |

This qualifies as weird and disturbing and is from Monday morning am.
I am at home where I was born getting ready for bed on the top floor in a room I shared with my brother. We are talking and suddenly we hear someone singing outside. My brother sighs and explains it is a woman who is stalking him and she is mentally disturbed (at least according to him). Bear in mind this is a three storey house. He leaves.
Eventually I get fed up and open the window and confront her. We have words and I frogmarch through the house down the stairs. My grandfather calls me by name and asks me to do something so now she knows my name. She bites my hand and I bite her on the back but more of a pinch as I do not draw blood or leave a bruise.
I walk her down to the back yard and throw her out on the cobbles outside with some violence and then shut the door. And that is it.
Point 1 My brother and I are estranged and have not spoken to each other in over a year
Point 2 My grandfather has been dead for over a decade
Point 3 I have never used that level of violence against anyone and God Forbid I would ever use it on a woman
Point 4 I don't know any woman like that nor do I work with any woman that age or description (blonde late 20s to 30s) nor have I seen anyone like that or TV recently.
Point 5 As far as I am aware no woman with this description bears either my brother and I any malice.
I am more than a little perturbed by the whole thing and wonder what on earth brought it on. _________________ Beware the Tribble my dear when the moon is fat. |

Two weird dreams two Mondays in a row that cause me to wake up in the wee small hours.
This one is like being a fiolm camera and following it around and is fragmented. It features Gillian and she is playing a Lady like Lady Dedlock in Bleak House. She is being kept prisoner but the conditions seem civilised as in clothing, food etc. And I can hear her talking with several women all younger than her and one explaining that what she wants cannot be done. Scene dissolves. Gillian is walking up a big spiral staircase such as you get in medieval castles. She gets to the top and there is the same woman she was talking to previously, the one who denied her request. Said woman is dozing sitting down near what appears to be a Spinning Jenny. Gillian snaps and gets hold of this string and puts it right the woman's throat. She then heads back down the stairs with this string in her hands and pulls on it like a rope strangling this other woman to death. She is interrupted by another of the women who says 'What have you done ? Now you are for it !' Gillian seems content however.
Scene dissolves. You are then looking at a noticeboard on which are dates and pictures and cuttings from newspapers. Two dates are 1964 and 1971. The camera picks out a picture of actor Peter Vaughan who in this is playing Gillian's husband and it says he has died at the age of 84.
Scene dissolves again and the focus is on a quartet of four men, three West Indian and one Caucasian who are bank robbers but not violent ones. They have just been released from prison but are very happy none the less. And then I woke up.
Several days later I am still bemused by it all. I have seen little or no television in the last couple of weeks, nothing with Gillian and no criminal links at all. There is this thing called the Last Enemy but that is to do with the State watching you. And I realise that this reads like a story or a film outline but if I was writing something like this it would actually make sense and this does not. _________________ Beware the Tribble my dear when the moon is fat. |

A few weeks ago I dreamt that I was a Girls Aloud fan - it was bloody horrifying! _________________ "The mediator between head and hands must be the heart!" Fritz Lang's Metropolis |

Look on the bright side. It could have been Westlife......
From last night. It is like I am reading an X-Files comic only this is the annual version so it is in a book (hardback). And Mulder and Scull are on a plane. For reasons that are not apparant Scully has secured Mulder sitting on the floor by one of the seats. She is then caught by a slow moving decompression which eventually pulls her towards an airlock. However she has some sort of large baggage which she uses to stop herself being hurled to her death and again somehow secures the outer airlock. She is then rescued by someone else (identity unclear) and they rush off to get back to Mulder. Meantime three guys with futuristic guns come into the airlock area which is like a tower structure. One looks up and screams as the Alien is perched up there and smiles horribly.
And that is it. How I get Mulder and Scully out of this, I don't know. _________________ Beware the Tribble my dear when the moon is fat. |

Ok, here is my addition to the X Files theme here. It was like a proper X Files episode. I dont think, I ever had a dream that makes so much sense, basically there was a narrative that was LOGICAL (finally)
I was the third agent working with Mulder and Scully. There were some very well hidden chemical esperiments (something with genes) going on in some factory, so Mulder and I got to work there "undercover" to be able to spy around. While Scully seemed to be somewhere around hiding and investigating. However she did come back every now and then and reported to us. It was a very complicated plot with lots of details and tension (and I have forgotten most of it).
At the end Mulder and I were finally out of the factory back together with Scully, running around, hiding behind cars, waiting for something... Finally I saved Scully from a bullet. I remember thinking " This is like a movie!" Cause it was that horrible cheesy shot, when somebody pushes the "victim to be" away from the bullet and both then fall over, and it all happens in a slow motion.
Other than that it was all cool, and when I woke up I was damn proud of the whole narrative. |
