Hell� everybody left here some time ago and happy new year!
Last days I was thinking that perhaps it's time for creating some NEW cartoons about Scully & Mulder, isn't it?
Any suggestion is welcome, including photos.

Hi Gillyfans!

I live in France and unfortunately the BBC iPlayer is not available here...BUT I manage to watch it anyway... I really recommend people to watch the series ...DON'T WAIT.............Gillian is just FANTASTIC in the film!

Great post! I saw you wrote 'not to post anything before' you have finished this...so, well i didn't post anything. lol

Anyway. I was there too and can now treasure the memory of the event. That was my first time seeing her live as I missed out on the Doll's House (still cant get over that!).
The fact that she prolonged the interview was wonderful, twice I think. At one point she even joked that the interviewer is hurrying to have his glass of wine (or something of that sorts). Even though she had done Johnny English promotion the same day.

I've been trying to go over the event in my mind to remember everything, but I suppose I couldn't really add anything significant as you seem to have covered all the major points.

Amongst other questions there was her saying that for the emotional scenes (crying) she tends to get in the moment and feel what the character feels instead of just digging up something sad but unrelated as that doesn't work for her. However for one scene in the House of Mirth she could't get into the right emotional state of mind anyway.
Also she does like the victorian/edwardian roles, as she seem to find a connection with that period.
And how at the time of the X Files she wasn't marketed as an upcoming new actress, instead she was always "Scully"
And that she has done projects that she hadn't really felt much for the character or the script, but more for other reasons and that those tend to turn out disappointing (or something like that)
And that she would like to do more comedy.
And that her favourite X Files episode is Bad Blood ( as we all now but now, I guess)
And (just adding to the inspirations question), she has never had any posters up her wall or anything. But as for actresses she did like Meryl Streep and Judi Dench (me being 95% sure of remembering right)
It was nice to hear she really is willing to do another X files. However it does seem very unlikely there will be one, as she too thinks that if there is a 3rd movie it should be in 2012 as later there wouldn't be much of a point. If I remember right she said that the 2nd movie was shot in february and released in June or july and generally the whole film was done quite quickly and that she wouldn't recommend that. lol
And answering to if all that anxiety of her younger/teenage self was worthwhile for her as a person, she said it wasn't and it was more like a wasted time or energy.
